Germán Málaga is a Research Associate with CRONICAS Center of Excellence in Chronic Diseases and the Research Unit of the Mayo Clinic, in the United States.
He graduated in Medicine from Arequipa’s San Agustín University and holds a Doctorate from Cayetano Heredia University (UPCH), as well as a Master’s in Evidence-based Medicine from Canada’s McMaster University.
He is an associate professor with Medicine Faculty and contributes to the resident and master’s programs of a number of institutions.
Germán Málaga’s interests are focused on the need to provide evidence to improve the diagnosis of metabolic and chronic diseases. He is also engaged in research associated with systematized methodologies and shared medical decisions in chronic diseases, and perioperative medicine.
