Jaime Miranda is the founding director of CRONICAS Center of Excellence in Chronic Diseases, and a research professor with the Medical Faculty at the Cayetano Heredia University (UPCH). Jaime participates in several of the UPCH postgraduate programs, including the Master’s in Epidemiological Research and the Global Health Program.
He graduated in Medicine from Cayetano Heredia University (UPCH) and holds a Doctorate in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. His interests are focused on the field of chronic diseases in developing countries, epidemiological transition, and issues related to the demands and challenges for public health in countries like Peru.
